Raegan is 23 months old. This goofball is the smartest, most passionate, most stubborn, and most entertaining toddler I know. This kid is seriously determined. She has an endless supply of energy, but is also able to entertain herself for hours, which is amazing. She has just started to begin her torturous twos... which are coinciding perfectly with her newfound sleep issues (separation anxiety, night terrors, nightmares...). So much fun for Mommy and Daddy. My little Raegan Boo talks up a storm and the things that come out of her mouth are hysterical. I'm sure every parent thinks this, but I could seriously write a book about the things she says!
Rory is 5 months old. I have no idea how he is that old already. People always say it goes by in a blur.Having two rugrats running around makes time goes twice as fast. Rory is a little monster- he just may be the strongest baby. This kid was rolling over from front to back at 1.5 weeks and back to front at 10 weeks. He was sitting up at 4 months and is now 5 months and can scoot his way around and is working on crawling on all fours. Crazy boy. He is happy as can be and just loves to play. Give him a toy and he will be happy.
What have we been up to lately??
Pictures say it best so....
Raegan had her first day of gymnastics yesterday! She absolutely LOVED it. She was pretty good for her first day! I was impressed because they did actual gymnastics activities - trampoline, balance beam, parallel and uneven bars, somersaults, cartwheels, horse... We are excited to continue with this- especially since she came home EXHAUSTED!
Rory is loving life eating solids! We have not had the opportunity to make homemade foods yet, but he loves any and all food!!
We had fun at the Renaissance Festival last weekend! Raegan and I rode and elephant and she rode a pony.
We finished our backyard! It is now kid-friendly!! Raegan and Rory love swinging and playing on the slide! Now we just need some days where it is nice enough to enjoy it and not 90+ degrees!!!
Rory is trying his hardest to stand up.... he doesn't realize he is way to young for that!!!
Raegan and Rory have started to play together! It is so fun to watch them! Raegan tells me "I'm gon teach Rory play." They are so cute. :)
We are having major sleep issues. For about a month, Raegan has not been sleeping at night or during naps. We are finally letting her cry and the result of this was her sleeping on the floor. Poor baby. Top that with Rory cutting teeth and the two of them sick for the past two weeks, Mommy and Daddy are EXHAUSTED. Last night we only had to get up 3 times and we felt refreshed.... imagine how we could feel if we ever got an entire night of sleep!!
Raegan thinks she is old enough to drive. Scary thought.
